MEET YOUR TRAINER

Erik Magnuson’s football journey began at La Costa Canyon High School, where he made a name for himself as a left tackle. During his high school career, he earned numerous accolades, including being a three-time All-CIF Section honoree, a two-time All-State Team selection, and the 2011 Offensive Player of the Year in the Avocado League. He was also named Second Team San Diego All-Century Left Tackle and was recognized as a four-star recruit and an Army All-American in 2011. These accomplishments secured him a full scholarship to the University of Michigan.

At Michigan, Erik’s career continued to flourish. He started 37 games and was awarded All-Big Ten honors twice, including First Team All-Big Ten in 2016. His leadership and performance on the field earned him the title of Offensive Lineman of the Year during his senior season. Following his college success, Erik went on to play in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. Throughout his college and professional career, Erik demonstrated versatility, playing as a tackle, guard, and center.

In recent years, Erik has channeled his expertise into coaching. For the past two seasons, he has served as the offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator at La Costa Canyon High School, imparting his deep knowledge of the game to the next generation of athletes.

After stepping away from the NFL, Erik’s passion for football remains as strong as ever. He is committed to developing young talent, bringing his comprehensive understanding of winning in the trenches to training young linemen and tight ends. Erik’s approach is built on years of experience and a drive to instill the skills, discipline, and mindset needed to succeed on the field.
